If that's of any interest to you, you may or may not have taken a look at some or all of the characters i posted recently for RPing purposes. Oh you don't care? Too geeky for ya? well perhaps you oughta stop reading now hm?
But for those who did take the time to go through parts of 'em,
notice a patern there?
ya, they all are pretty much f...ed up in one way or another, and that for a few quite simple reasons!
first, i actually like mentally unstable characters. Second, when looking through some random characters, most of them appeared to me as too ''standard'', by that i mean most of them are basically the same, ''good guys/gals, but cross them and you'll regret it!'' or ''obscure and mysterious fella who rarely shows emotions but still have a good heart'' and sometimes basically no personality at all. Sure there are exceptions and some are actually very well thought through, but...well let's say things as they are: the majority is highly unoriginal. Now i'm not saying i'm reinventing anything or that i am any good at creating characters (i'll leave the opinion making to you, thanks), but i never came across any that actually mentioned mental disorders or serious moral ambiguity in their descriptipons, and those who dare having scary/amoral/evil/weird traits are usually antagonists and big bad guys. I thought it sad and decided that maybe i could come up with some that would make for an interesting/unusual RP experience, but that is hard for me to judge, it may have been a huge mistake and all of them might end up making for poor RP fun. Only Chaos will reveal the outcome of this attempt!
Finally another reason that drove me to write such cahracters is any good writer's advice: By all means, do write about yourself!
There will most likely be others eventually, but there's always a chance i'll die or something so expect nothing in case everything happens.
